Is it Fall yet?

I have a slight obsession with pumpkins, pumpkin spice lattes, Ohio State Football and pretty much anything else that happens in fall. For the last 6 years I have worked at the United Way where the fall was our busy season, so I am learning to enjoy the fall now that I am not longer working.I know it’s still in the 90s right now but I guess I am wishful for the cooler temps to be headed our way, so I have been on a crazy fall crafting kick.

Just a little Ohio State football love for this southern home.

Kasyn’s First Birthday

Wow, I took a little time off from blogging. Well since I forgot to tell you all we had a baby, let’s just skip right to his first birthday.

I think I missed my calling on being a kids birthday party planner or I just had way too much fun putting together a party for our little man. We celebrated at our house and invited way too many just enough people and it was worth every moment of craziness. Although staying withing budget was always in the back of my mind; I’m sure we all had a great time! We had a balloon wreath, yummy chocolate cupcakes, custom banners and lots of food.

Here are a few pictures from the party, enjoy my friends!

A view into our world

Since I have taken a few months (maybe a year) off of blogging I figured I would just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Last Summer

We joined a co-op this summer and I have loved getting a basket each week. I love the challenge of getting new foods each work to figure out how to cook it.

I shot my first gun

My “new” orange chair that I saved from going to the trash at my grandmas house

You are the only Ten I see

I love getting to see April in Knoxville every year, I look forward to the few short hours every summer.

A little beer tasting to keep us cool this past summer

Celebrating Easter

What? I am actually blogging about something that happened less than a week ago! Don’t get used to it 🙂

We had a small Easter lunch with my family. Since we have Sawyer around everything is a bit more fun.

My niece Sawyer!

She is the center of attention

She seems to like Uncle Matt this time around. She has a slight issue with his beard.

The Harris Family

I don’t think I have a picture of the outside of our house yet. Here you go!

Always Playing Catch Up

Wow, when I started to download pictures from my camera I realized I had pictures from Christmas, MLK Day renovations, lots of random projects and spring. I am going to stop apologizing and just give you a ton of photos to make up for it.

Thanks for still being my friend.

A new Camera

Wow, I need some help with my titles, they are getting lame! I finally got a nice camera 🙂 🙂 I am the proud owner of a Nikon D3100 🙂 It is changing my life, well at least the way that I take photos!

I had a mini camera lesson with my friend Pam to learn a few tricks!

My rings were an easy subject!

Keys are also easy to practice on.

Let’s just say I am in love 🙂
